Mural at the Federal Plaza Municipal Parking Garage
Two grand nineteenth-century blocks (as large buildings covering multiple lots were then called) had to be razed to create this downtown parking garage. Their demolition was only one act in the creative destruction that continually remade Franklin Square into Federal Square and now into the Theatre District.

The Californian muralist Christina Angelina, who also paints under the alias "Startfighter," teamed up with the Mexican street artist Victor "MARKA27" Quinonez to breath new life into the drab brown brick pillar of the parking garage.
